A plant has TWO dates. You enter the seed germination date; the date of placing it in a box is set by the app itself at that moment. Both are shown in the plant card and are edited there.
The date of placing in a box does not change when the plant moves between boxes: it answers the question of when germination ended, not when the plant reached its current box.
A planted sprout gets its own number, and it stays with the plant through every move between boxes until harvest or discard.
«The cell is already occupied» - there is already a plant in this cell. Pick a free one or remove the plant from this one first.
«The date of placing in a box is earlier than the germination date» - the date of placing in a box is earlier than the germination date. Check both dates in the plant card.
«Date cannot be in the future» - the germination date cannot be later than today.
«Variety not found» - the chosen variety has been removed from the catalogue. Refresh the page and pick the variety again.
