Understand the message that another member changed the record

How to do it

  1. Refresh the page: the app shows the current state of the record.
  2. Look at what the other member changed.
  3. Make your edit again on top of the new state.

When it is available

  • Appears when two people work on one record at the same time.

Important

  • Your edit is not silently lost and has not overwritten theirs: the app stops on purpose and asks, instead of picking a winner by itself.
  • Repeating the same action without refreshing the page is pointless - the message will come again.

If you see a message

  • «Changed by another user - refresh and try again» - the record was changed while you were editing it. Refresh the data and try again.
  • «The box was changed by another user - refresh and try again» - the box was changed by another member.
  • «The measurement was changed by another user - refresh and try again» - the measurement was changed by another member.
  • «The period was changed by another user - refresh and try again» - the solution period was changed by another member.
  • «Invalid If-Match header: a revision number is expected» - the app sent a wrong version mark of the record. Refresh the page; if it repeats - write to support.
