Turn on-screen hints on or off

How to do it

  1. Open «Configuration».
  2. In the «Interface» section find «On-screen hints».
  3. Press the switch: «Show» or «Hidden».

When it is available

  • The setting belongs to each farm member separately and is available to every role. Turning the hints off for yourself does not touch your neighbours.
  • Hints are on by default.

Important

  • A hint is the question mark next to a field, a switch or a value. Hover over it with the mouse or touch it with a finger to read the explanation.
  • The setting is kept on the server, not in the browser: turn the hints off on the computer and you will not see them on the phone either.
  • Turning them off removes ONLY the teaching: the question marks and messages like «Drag the sprout to a free cell or onto another box tab».
  • The messages of the move mode always stay. They hold the cancel button, and without the text it would be unclear what you are leaving.
  • Explanations written right next to a field are part of the form, not a hint. They are not switched off.
  • Confirmations, update notices and error messages are not hints and stay where they are.
  • The interface language is changed in the same «Interface» section.
  • The hints in the variety card explain the sign pattern, the resistance to diseases and the «In use» mark.
